Dual monitors with ATI cards

My question is how stable are ATI's cards / drivers at handling dual screens?

Currently I use two monitors with my Nvidia 7900GTO. It works fairly well, but I fancy an upgrade soon (for gaming).

On the primary monitor I play games at full screen res (TF2 etc.) or do desktop stuff. On the 2nd screen I either have a full screen TV (Nebula DigiTV card), or play AVIs (using media player classic) again in fullscreen. I use ultramon for a secondary task bar.

I've a feeling I won't really know until I try it, but any info from ATI users who have dual screens running TVs games and other stuff, would be useful :)

thanks

iam running my main 30" screen at 1360x768 or wateva it is and my monitor at 1024x768 cant remember the exact resolutions, i get no problems *** so eva! only think i can think of is changing the settings after a driver update! all my games TF2 Gears of War etc run fine!!

this is running on my X1950Pro 512MB IceQ

used/using 9800SE, 1900XT, HD2900XT all in dual screen and seems as stable as when using one monitor, no problems with videos, desktop, webbrowsing. but im using 2 monitors not a monitor and a TV.

Hi - that's good to know

(I should have said - both screens are monitors - 2 x 22" LCDs running at 1680x1050 each - but the TV card runs in a full-screen window on 2nd monitor)
