Had the Integra 'Detailed'....

Why do people still think that detailing is a waste of time? I bet up close it's removed hundreds of tiny scratches that don't show up in photos but made the car look gash in the sunlight.

I had my black car properly machine polished, it looked sodding awful in the sunlight, even straight after a normal polish, now it looks like new paint. Well worth the money and looks awesome :)

How much does this precedure cost?

I presume it changes within car size, but how much roughly for the Integra pictured in this thread?

Thanks

Unfortunately for you and your misinformed stereotype, Fox actually likes detailling...

Wow, you are very perceptive.

I meant that hopefully he would launch into a sarcastic false "OMG-you-detailed-your-car-you-must-be-a-loser" comment.

Like he has in the past. Which I find humourous.

No need to get bent out of shape over a comment said in jest.

It would seem however that in this case he's gonna let me down :(

Of course he was going to let you down, he LIKES detailing.

Which oddly is what you moaned at MrSix for saying

I agree with rG-tom though, it looked shiny at the MM.

You sure? Doesn't the DC2 just have the edge with it's power-to-weight ratio?

Come to think of it, no, I'm not sure. Infact from what I can see they are very similar with 0-60 mid 6's and 0-100 in 17 seconds.

I would have thought that gaps will be drawn between them in two circumstances:

a) Speeds of over 100mph, where the 530i is gone
b) Roads with corners, where the Teg is gone.

Given that a) rarely happens without somebody getting arrested, for all intents and purposes for driving quickly, Teg > 530i.

That hurt :(

Yeah, they are probably pretty close, although to be fair you'll be quicker at higher speeds.

edit: posted this before your edit :D
