IRAQ war themed ! Tbh i grew tired of the whole iraq scenario after BF2 i really wish they would start changing the record here.
Am i the only person utterly bored of the whole iraqi middle eastern flavor of 90% of fps's now ?
Even the new soldier of fortune is middle east it's so boring you get the u.s /marines/sas and a terrorist side with crappier weapons and uniforms.
Really think it's time for a change.
 
Yea ok bad example but what about the multiplayer is it u.s vs middle eastern ? anyway it's going down another boring route the new iraq will be KOREA.

A good vietnam shooter would be well welcomed. Don't reckon it'll catch on though. :rolleyes:
 
To different armies how about usa vs uk or usa vs europe and so on doesn't have to be politically correct does it ? or does it ?
i'd like to be able to oppose the usa team for once with someone other than a terrorist or korean.
 
cod4 has russian in it, but games set in modern times draw inspiration from real life, and i dont see any other wars going on.
 
Take COD 4 i'd love it to be sas vs marines and choose that, but no you have to be a politically correct middle eastern terrorist to fight against the USA.
At least give people more options, it would be very simple SAS could be all black like CS and usa as per.
I simply have no desire to be in middle eastern side in games anymore i want a snappy uniform too like the marines.
How about non middle eastern based terrorist faction at least so we can have a weapon other than the ak47 and decent garms for a change.

Having thought a bit i dont really care what im shooting at, i think its time story lines and character acting improved.

So you actually care about the characters around you. Company of heroes and HL2:EP2 have been good at this recently.

Also less linearity, roam free ! Alan wake might crack this.

I dont get it though, why would it be awsome, surely its the setting of the game or the gameplay and story that would make or break it, not the fact it was the english:rolleyes: v americans,

Does it really matter what the guy you see through the scope is dressed like???
 
how about a game that is based upon the world 100 years later with the same technology after a massive meteor hit earth and all cities are their own clan's, you are one man set out to do ANYTHING to find his family be they in slavery or hideing, or even dead... with a actualy plot, a story, rather than just going into camps and shooting everyone to bits. and genuine puzzles "i saw your wife, but last i heard she was in paris with some matey named zeus the great, he wont give her up easy and for free if shes even with him anymore"...

jesus, all violence these days (as much as i love it) i just miss the good old slow and casual story based electronic interactive plots :D

It would be awesome because we have had to be a middle eastern terrorist online for the last few years anything would be a breath of fresh air.
 
There's one with zombies coming out soon. It looks excellent - you can be a zombie or a shooter and it should allow for massive hilarious online play!

Anyway OP stop crying about who / what you're shooting at. The satisfaction and fun is mainly in the gameplay not the colour of the other guy's skin.
