Received the kit today. After a load of hassle I found 1 of the sticks to be faulty. One stick wouldn't boot into XP while the other seemed fine.

After some more testing with the working stick it appears that too as issues. I have had some BSOD's while copying files. I'm running at stock 5300 5-5-5-15 at 1.85 .

I will try upping the voltage but I would have thought stock voltage should have no problems with 5300.

Running a P5W64 Pro with the lastest 903 Bios.

So far not impressed to say the least :(

How upsetting. I've got mine yesterday too. I haven't had a chance to use them, but I was counting on them to at least work.

That said i've got no problem upping the volts a bit to get them stable. Any chance, Asgard, that you're motherboard is undervolting them?

The motherboard is sound with my other memory. Kingston, ballistix, gskill.

I ran the sticks at 2 Volts and I also dropped the speed to 4200 with no joy. I'm hoping its just a bad pair but in all honesty i'm slightly put off and might just ask for a refund. I have requested an RMA from OcUK and I'm just waiting for them to get back to me.

I might stick mine back in and run a few tests, as i said they worked fine for me at 2V and stock speed but that was just using desktop stuff.

Well just tried these with one of my other machines based on a P5N32-E Sli and I can't get past the BIOS post. So that rules out the motherboard!

Requested a refund
