I think tooth aches rank (or should do) as the top form of pain ever established.

I mean seriously, I can tolerate a lot of pain but the toothache I've had the past 2 days (seems to have a 12-14 hour cycle and lasts for a good hour) makes me curl up and wriggle in pain.

Who's with me?

Not even extra strong pain relief pills are keeping this throbbing away!

GO AND SEE A DENTIST!!!!

Gargle warm salt water until you can get there, dont swallow it, it makes you sick, just swill it round in your mouth.

You must stop being a bloke and get to a dentist now though, its not going to go away.

I have all next week off work so am making time to go see the dentist then, until then I will just have to put up with this!

Owchies.

Last year my left side tooh (3rd in from wisdom tooth) did the same thing, had it seen to and pain went away, problem solved. Now the exact same number tooth on the right side is godoing the same thing. I think it's because when my Wisdom teeth grew last year they applied pressure to these 2 teeth and they just could not take no more, looks like a toothy outy will need to be done!

Run through the door of your dentist, fists waving in the air. And shout
"I WANT DRUGS."

Yep, that oughta do it.

Nope, it's bad. But nothing beats an ear infection. As it just hit's everything. You have to lie down because you have no balance and are constantly dizzy which makes you feel sick. You can't do anything which involves noise. So no tv, computer etc.

Ear infections are just evil.

If you have an infection you are at risk of damaging your gums even more if you leave it. They have emergency dentists for a reason you know.

Well I could always nip in tomorrow at the local dentist and see what they recommend, strange it's onlyjust started to happen, hopefully it's nothing too serious though! (can't spot anything awkward in the mirror etc)

Never had tooth ache yet & i'm 25 :D

Or ear ache for that matter, or a head ache.

Not even a headache? I thought everyone had a headache every once in a while!

Having suffered a few limb brakes over the years playing Rugby and Football, once fracturing above the knee and clean breaking it under the knee in the same tackle which was agony. Ask me what I remember as my most painful experience, my wisdom tooth shattering eating a fruit and nut bar and exposing the nerve. 3 days of sheer hell. :( Tooth Ache sucks, go see a dentist now!!!!!

Currently have a chest infection which has made me cough like a trooper for the past week. This has now accumulated in to the worst headache ive had in a few years at least, and it hurts more every time i cough :\

Now drugged up from the friendly doctor but its not making much diff so far.

It is very annoying, one of the worst annoying things ever.

I usually get rid of it by taking a couple Kapake tablets. Seems to do the job for me.

Get yourself to a Dentist. My dad abstained from going to the Dentist for years, until his mouth swelled up with a massive absess and he was forced to go to an emergency appointment.

£6000 and 18 months later and his mouth and teeth are almost better.

I have some stuff from the supermarket that tastes vile but it numbs your teeth very well, it is hard to apply though depending on where in your mouth the bad tooth is.

Before that I was trying the salt water but it didn't help, painkillers and ice cold water helped a little also.

I am still to visit the dentist but the cost is extortionate, I wouldn't mind put I pay so much damn tax why isn't it free.

tooth ache is the worst of all pains i reckon. Its just so annoying and its hard to get rid of. My teeth grew without enamel and my teeth were very sensitive, and i got tooth ache all the time, but i used a special tooth paste which cured it. but i was very young at the time and i used to just chew on a whiskey soaked cotton bud. I used to go through like 1 bottle a week :)
