Whilst looking for my new watch came across Vostok.
Not strictly what I was looking for but a few have caught my eye.
There seem to be two 'varietes' though. Standard Vostok which seem to be (very) cheap Russian watches and presumably fairly basic etc but have a certain charm I think?
Then there is Vostok-Europe. Other than the style and marketing are they any different from the original Vostoks?
Are they actually all made in Russia or are they made in Far East with cheap movements?
Are the original Vostoks actually military watches as they are described or simply designed to look like them?
