The most important game the world has ever seen, *SPOILERS*

Won't bother

Hoping we dont go through, we need a slap in the face like this, maybe then the team (bar a few) might actually play and try for their country rather than just think they are in the team because they should be

Same here. When there's something obviously not right there's nothing wrong than watching the team drop slowly and narrowly miss out. This makes people reluctant to change and delude themselves that they were just unlucky or whatever.

Hope they lose to Austria then maybe the FA will have no choice but sack that muppet in charge and the players realize just how up their own posteriors they are.

1-0 up at HT, Crouch with the goal but Owen's off injured
With the amount of people defending the boss I can't see him going :(

Yep its looking that way now :(

I'd sack him even if we did qualify, if Israel do get something off Russia that doesn't make McClaren any better a manager and will put us in a better bargaining position with possible replacements.

cant get the game on at the moment as it's being hogged for Children in Need. How are England playing

Not been giving it too much attention tbh, writing an essay :(

edit\ listening to Wilkins and Hoddle and they're saying Gerrard and Lampard have linked up well and Carson has done well too.

I couldn't help myself .. dreadful football .. cant string a pass together, cant keep the ball on the floor, players all over the place positionally .. Its like watching Championship football .. that might be doing Championship football a disservice actually

Of course all of this logical stuff will be overlooked and we'll continue to whinge about there being a lack of passion rickkayyyyyy .. rickkkayy you aint got no passion for the shirt .. cor blimey guv

We really are terrible. This team was at its best in 2004 and should have won the tournament. Next five years will be poor for England I reckon. No young players that strike me as making a difference at all.

As for Wednesday, no Rooney, no Owen, no Ferdinand, no Terry, no chance. Regardless of the score tomorrow :)

Exactly, I don't see why so many people are bordering our chances on the game tomorrow.

It's unlikely we'd beat Croatia anyway. I wouldn't be remotely surprised if Israel got something out of the game tomorrow, and then we nobb'ed it up Wednesday.
