Very rare to meet nice people on the web. A huge thank you to DJ Binks!

I've chatted to DJB on msn for a while now and he's been a decent guy. We all just tend to chat to random people on msn and keep them as e-buddies.

Just informed DJB that my dad was going to collect a car for me assuming it was there and it was a 140 mile trip for him. DJB informed me it was only a few miles from him which was a shocker! Any how, It was 11pm, I was cheeky and I asked him if he could check if the car was still there as I couldn't ring the garage owner earlier. DJB just went out of his way to check the car for me, I was shocked as I was just expecting a no.

He came back and told me its there and caught by the police on the way back (nutter! :p). I offered to pay him for his inconvenience and he kindly declined.

I know it's absolutely freezing out there and I appreciate it so much! Genuinely an awesome chap! Thanks Ian and I owe you one

I would probably do the same, but then I love drivin my car, so it's any excuse :D Still, I like portraying a helpful image to people.

There's three things you can count on in life; death, taxes, and me.

Shameless stolen from Will & Grace :D

have to disagree with the thread title tbh. I've met plenty of nice people from the web over the last 8 years or so - several of them from OCUK!

Nice to hear of another good bloke hanging around these here forums though, good on you :)
