eBay cancel listing

Hi,

Thought I would post as most of you use eBay here and would probably know the answer fairly quickly.

I'm selling something on eBay and its advertised elsewhere, if someone has already bid on the item can I if I get interest from the "elsewhere" cancel the bidding on eBay? Or are the rules that once someone has bid you can't cancel the listing etc?

I'm pretty sure you can't cancle it now someone has bid?

You certainly used to be able to, when you end an auction early you get the option to either cancel all bids and not sell it, or sell it to the current highest bidder. I've done both a few times.

You can but you have to cancel the bids before you can cancel the item.

Just remember selling direct to an ebay member who has contacted you is outside of ebays terms and conditions.

To cancel a listing after it has had bids, you have to cancel all the bids first and then it will allow you to remove the listing. Search the eBay Help pages on finding out how to cancel bids
