So, what is your insurance like?

24, 3years NCB, 0 points, 2006 Golf V GTi, Cardiff, private use = £830 with VW Insurance (underwritten by Zurich). That was the cheapest out of all the companies willing to insure me :(

Just renewed mine the other day:

MY2001 BMW 330i Sport, Insurance Group 17
21yo, 1yr NCB, 2 accidents, 3 points

£1018.99 for 10 months!

Bell originally quoted £1700, but with a few phone calls, and one girl saying "I only pressed a button, but it's taken £200 off", it dropped to my cheapest ever policy for any car :D

19, 0 points, 0 ncb, 1 fault accident, mum & dad as named drivers

fiesta 1.25 - £1200 FC, Bell
focus 1.6 (£3000 value) - £1600 FC, Bell
focus tdci (£6000 value) - £1900 FC, Bell

you really dont save money with diesel :p

Insurance is £260 per year :)

I don't envy the youngsters who are paying over a grand for insurance, just look forward to a few years time!

I dunno, a grand isn't that much for some of the cars being insured on here, especially when many of us have convinctions! I nearly hit sub-grand this year (albeit for 10 months), so maybe next year (with another years NCB) I'll make it :)
