Anyone here got a green laser pen?

It was fun taking mine to new years in central london a couple of years ago - there were people with standard red ones and mine just ate them alive :D

It was nicely visible through all the smoke from the fireworks !

that blue ray thing is well geeky. (but still amazingly cool!)

anyone know why they dont power laser pens off AA batteries instead of AAA. They would either be higher powered or last longer with AA surely.

My 30mw true green arrived. Jesus its powerful, loving the fact I can reach headingley stadium flood light from my bedroom window which is quite far away

a 5mW would be a class 3R over here so not as bad.

but anything over 5mW is class 3B and is illegal to sell to the public, and illegal for the public to use.

So how come you can buy 200mw lasers and higher? Surely its just like a website selling drugs, firearms and anything else illegal?

but yes, i can see why they are illegal in the wrong hands. Football matches in other fans eyes for example.

edit. you can see the beam so theres no point in shining anywhere you dont want ot be seen anyway
