Taking the girlfriend to see Avenue Q on the 21st Dec so looking for somewhere nice to eat before we go into the theatre. Nothing too posh or double michelin star. No preference as I'll eat anything and so will she as long as its not spicy. So any suggestions? Cheers

Not that cheap - but damn good. However, you do need to book around 2 weeks in advance iirc. Possibly sooner at Christmas.

Plus, the cowskin furniture is cool. I wanted to steal some.

Yeah, basically 50's style diner specialising in burgers (high quality ones though, and their onion rings are fantastic!). They do a few chicken things etc. as well. The food is cooked to order as well, so not like mcd's etc.

Lovely Italian Restaurant 'La Quercia D'oro' at 16 Endell street, not very expensive and great service!
