ATI Crysis hotfix

The performance was quite neglegable in the increase, actaully, it's just that shaders seem to be a lot better optimised - I wasn't geting any texture flash previously though. Saying that, I'm only trying it on the demo - the retail is in the post :)

Cancel my posts. Upon reboot (I reboot once a week abouts) ati CCC didnt start and I didn't fancy having to launch it every startup, then ATI tool etc... so we're back to square one after an uninstall, and I can't get it to work at all.

CCC is annoyin the hell out of me. The drivers themselfs install fine.

Speedy..What driver version did you have before? I never got any errors upon installing the Hotfix, I had the 7.10's before hand though....

the download links gone, anyone got a direct link?

This is it, may not work though as hotlinking directly to page in the ATi support fails to work, sometimes.
The path to it is AMD Customer Care Site Map > Radeon Support - PC > Radeon HD 2900 series > Knowledge base > Gaming > then page 3 of 3.

I have the 7.10s installed and im not uninstalling the 7.10s before installing the hotfix, this is the correct way isnt it? My card is a 1900xt so the hotfix should be compatable.

Indeed, just install over the top of the 7.10's :)

However, I don't believe I saw any major improvements, going by the bench I posted in my above post.
