i know this is a bit of a hard question in terms of performance but can i get a playable fps with my rig, found in my sig.

i expect ill have to run it on low and definatly in dx9 mode (im still on xp anyway) from what ive heard.

but is it possible to get like 30 - 40 fps with those settings.

and what are the graphics like on low ? pretty good still ?

id be happy if i can run it at medium settings ... looks very nice ... is it me or does it look a bit dullish at higher settings.

Play it at medium & then experiment, runs fine on mine at medium, only very accassional slow in massive big action bits, I am still on 7800GS+ 512mb AGP card, also resist the temptation to try to run at insane high reolutions, I tweaked the demo to get sunbeams thru the trees & other stuff but too engrosed in the full game to mess as it just looks magical as it is:D

Depends on the res you play at? Me i prefer higher quality settings and lower res. I have a very rubbish 7600gt and have the option to either game all low at 1280x1024 or all medium with post processing, water and shadow at high at 800X600, this is on a 19 inch monitor BTW and i get about 25-30fps in most places on either of these settings the only time it slowsdown is when theres a lot of fog in a massive space, other then that its perfect. Although an 8800GT would still be nice :p

800x600 looks like gash. For me its 1280x720, all high, sound medium, shaders medium, shadows medium and post processing on low

For most its between 25 and 30fps but parts do dip to about 10. But they will with settings on high with 8800GTX anyway

Your right it does look gash, but i think 800 X 600 on med/High looks better than 1280X1024 all on low wouldn't you say? I also find post processing to be the single biggest realism gain in terms of graphics, without it, it doesn't feel 'real' to me. Bear in mind i'm limited by my appalling graphics card :( (<-- he doesn't look sad enough with the hat on)

i can run it fine, all on low with my 1950 pro agp at 1440x900 :)

still looks great

i do get the occasional stutter though
