Nokia N82

pretty much, i like the look of it aswell...ive gone off slide phones since my nokia n80, so much work pushing it up and down...its not even spring loaded

It looks great - has a quick camera (apparently the quickest in the market) and has a zenon flash. For me with a toss up between the N82 and N95 8Gb its a close call - ie a playoff between a bigger screen or a better camera. The slider on the N95 8Gb is good - I have zero complaints about it so far. In Q1 next year the N82 will be coming out with different colours if you have a month or so on your contract.

i thought most networks werent going to release the n82 due to the nokia music store stuff?

Its look reminds me of the N73...and after having an N73 for a year...when at first it was the best phone on the market and very reliable, but after a while becoming ****, im def staying away from these types of Nokia's!

Although I did get a tytn 2 a few days ago, might have something to do with it :D

The N73 is Nokia of old, thankfully!

My contract is up in january so I'll be looking to get this beauty :) My N80 is also a pile of stink and I get fed up with the slider, unlocking in my pocket and doing random things in my pocket whilst I am unaware.

Its a tough decision between the N95 8Gb and this.. big screen (N95 8GB) versus decent camera/slightly quicker OS (N82). The N95 imo looks better than the N82.

Be warned guys - some of the review units (prototypes) have a navi wheel like the N81, however the final unit does not have the Navi wheel.

Hardly any difference in size between them, people keep on point out physical size difference but forget its the same resolution. They'll look the same, whats an extra .2... My E60 (and the N80) pooped them both due to decent resolution...

Well they will have the same res - but the N95 8gb will have a bigger screen, personally I'd prefer a bigger screen (ie the N95 8gb screen is noticeably different to the N95) - but its down to preference.

Noticably possibly, but .2" (diagonal too!) isn't going to give you much more really ;)

The N82 is 2.4" and N95 8Gb 2.8" thats .4" - quite a difference!;)

I didnt know the k850i was so big!

I really like the look of this phone.

Its definatly going to be either this one or the N95 8GB for my next phone.

Im used to the non slider phone with having a N73 for the last year, so I think the N82 would be better for me.

Any chance of this on T-Mobile by Jan 08?

Yep I believe this will be released by Tmobile before then, there is no operator exclusivity. So in all likelyhood - Tmobile, Voda and o2 will stock this.

My only negative about this phone is it seems quite bulky for a candybar phone (other pics make it seem quite big). The camera seems excellent though.
