Ok so this is similar to the one i posted above, so it seems I could save a bit of dosh on the processor so I'll have a look into that.

As for gaming. How will this rig handle that? Will it be able to play ut3 at 1680x1050 or will I have to compromise on performance. I know that HL2 and DOW should be ok on it.

Should handle it fine.

The E2180 will allow you to save money and get a better CPU at a later date too.
