Whys the pitch in such bad condition?

Rain perhaps???. Although they blamed the NFL game that was held a few weeks ago but tbh it rained pretty much all through the whole game that night as well. The pitch is in a terrible state though but still England shouldnt be using that as an excuse...look at Croatia...they seemed to have done well...up 2-0 within 20 mins of playing.

One question i gotta ask though...why the hell dont they close the Wembley roof??. I mean at the NFL game a few weeks ago..it rained pretty badly but yet they didnt bother closing the roof....can someone explain to me what the hell is the use of having a roof if they dont bother using it??. All the other stadiums that ive been to, mostly N America that have closing roofs...they always close them when its raining or bad weather.

Anyone know why they dont bother here??.

Players look slow almost hungover, and I don't think it's all down to the pitch/conditions. Carson shouldn't have been picked for a match of this magnitude with this much at stake, if they target him, I think we're in even more trouble.
