yeah im working as a temp here atm, and they are great to work for :)

Im a qualified Graphic Designer, but im getting sick of the industry after being made redundant 3 times in last year :(.....its not been a good last 12 months

so thought stuff it! i enjoy working here and I have pretty good computer knowledge and experience in supplier/customer relations....give it a go

must have done ok on the app. as i got the interview :D

Don't let them take over, ask them to expand on things that they say and make the interview more like a conversation about the job than a one sided grilling.

Dazzle them with some jazz hands!

Seriously though, good luck!

LOL nice one....jazz hands F T W

Mookjong - yeah thats what a friend mentioned this morning. + the more interest and energy you show towards the position the better first impression you give too i guess

Maintain eye contact.

Don't sit with your arms folded, sit there with your arms open, leaning forward slightly.

This shows you are eager and are paying attention!

Good luck, let us know how it goes :)

You have to do this from the off, the moment you walk in put your questioning head on. One of the questions I love to get in as early as possible is "What would be involved in a typical day in this role" then as they explain it ask suplimentry questions.

Good luck

that is an awesome question!

have to be dropping that in

Make sure and ask that type of question in an active first-person kind of way and not as if it is just a passive enquiry, e.g. "What 'would I/can I expect to' be doing during a typical day 'here/in this role'?". It's not a huge difference in wording but I think it should help to engage the interviewer a bit more. The goal isn't to be too pushy about it (that would be "What will I..."), just to show that you are actively interested in the job and can clearly see yourself in the role.

EDIT - Ah well you're already in the interview :) I hope it went well!

also things like 'who would i report to and how would my performance be managed' etc, allowing them to think about you in the role.

so.....i think it went pretty well, had examples for all the questions that they asked, and felt pretty chilled for most of it

think they were atleast a little bit impressed lol, they are discussing notes they took down tomorrow and getting back to me asap.....fingers, arms, eyes and legs crossed :D
