32" HD or HD Ready

What should be a simple question (hopefully) ;

At 32" would any normal person notice a large difference between a HD and a HD Ready TV (TFT) using a HD source (SKY HD Box or PS3)

Your question makes no sense.
But if you mean would you notice between DVD-Videos and 720p, yes definietly due to DVD scaling and lower resolution (although get a 720p with high compression and it'll look worse than DVD)

Then how come I went into a shop and they said (iirc)

HD Ready = upto 1080i
HD = 1080p

Or other way round?

They said that the HD was better and more money so wasnt sure at that size if it would be better?

Were they right about the 1080i and p thing? Would there be a difference @ 32"?

@32" you would do well to notice a difference at a normal viewing distance. The general opinion is that Full HD (1080p) begins to be more noticeable at 42"+

The best way to decide is to try to get the shop to set up the 2 tv's side by side, you can then see if any difference is worth the extra £££

At 32" you'll struggle to find a TV that supports 1080p. Huge majority of them are only 1080i.
