Ati 7.11 Drivers OUT NOW!!!

Riteo then! I shall be leaving my 7.11's on, as I believe they're performing better than the 7.10's with the hotfix installed over them.

@ Toothe: I don't know if you were referring to my post earlier, but that was with the spec in my sig....Then Iceshocks was done with a 2900xt I believe.

dunno, the 7.11 likely hasn't changed much over the past few weeks while in testing, they know its stable, while the crysis hotfix is probably a quick fix that isn't tested enough to go into a driver.

Doesn't want to install for my x1900 xt is says some carp about a previous version is installed and it want to quit the installation !

I've ran driver cleaner and removed all ati files and tried again and again but with no luck !

Great ! now i've got no drivers for my card ! :mad:

Have you booted into safe mode and used driver cleaner? That may help.

I presume your selecting the 'ATI' option on driver cleaner, which removes everything as far as I'm aware. Just check theres not folders anywhere, may be worth using Ccleaner to remove some registry entrys as well perhaps.

If not, I can probably email you the 7.10's or something if you wish.

Yeah as Loadsa said, use the hotfix drivers if your are playin Crysis on the HD38XX's because the glitchy textures at High detail make a return! Back to the Hotfix for me

Gonna install the hotfix over the 7.11's!

I'll check tonight and see if the folders are still there, 7.10 don't work either ! same issue !

i don't think just on the HD3800 series because it says "Crysis players should continue using the Crysis hotfix driver. " which means anybody that plays crysis with a ati card should continue to use the hotfix.

im using the drivers that came with my 3870 atm. i am playing on high settings (crysis) and when i look at the sea there seems to be lag drawing the shadows is this driver related? will hotfix solve this

Flashing textures was the "normal" problem for 3870's with the release driver

If your playing Crysis, then they say to not bother with these and to just carry on with those crysis Hotfix drivers.

these do not work still for agp, was mentioned on rage3d forum that ati have ended agp driver support now. although i wonder what will happen when the 3850 or so ends up on agp, unless its been cancelled.

Just seen the above post...Dam; is this really a a fact? I would have though that ATI would say so somewhere before you download them...

Does anyone know up to what version Ati drivers can work with AGP cards?

Not the miracle gains some people were saying but enough to encourage me to stick with them. Thats at 1280x1024 No AA All high plus the 'Cheap Very High' hack from tweakguides, full Very High Water and Edge AA on 2.

Go to the Card manufacturer they have patched drivers for AGP

We got to be getting to the point when ATI and Nvidia drop support for the older cards with each driver release..must be a nightmare testing so many card types after they change 1 bit of code !
