well i know i aint going to be that extreme EVER! but out of intreats and knowlage i seen some youtube vis and they make a tube and poor nitro into it and cools cpu, how long would it last? how often do you need to fill it up? how fast does it get comsumed and where can i get my hands on some if i was to get it?

just out of intreast :D

It doesn't last that long.

You need to go over say here.
You need special containter as well and then you have to stop condensation etc.

There is a huge amount to learn on this.

This thread will give you some idea of the preperation needed.

You might lose a few fingers, or worse, before you did any real damage to the PC but let's know how you get on - assuming you can still type when the time comes :)

Used it at work, a big Tanker Truck from BOC brings the Nitro, you get it in big metal bucket poured from Tanker (well we did) and it starts to evap immed, you need to work fast with it.

We used it to shrink metal Gudgeon Pins for fitting Pistons on to Con Rods.

I aint 100% sure, but Joe Public cant just buy the stuff, the Yanks use Dry Ice which is simular and they can buy it and have fun with it.

Search for "Dry Ice Bomb" on YouTube. :p

okie so do u know where can i get my hands on small quantity so i can experiment and mess around with it? and when u says it goes fast that menas it diseapear when its in a container or u mean when its opened.

Well the boiling point of liquid nitrogen is something silly like -195.8 degrees. So unless you can keep it below that temperature (very unlikely unless you have expensive equipment) then it will just evaporate.

ROFL boom, wait does that mean when the ice melts and the water+ dice = boom?? and why do ppl add petrol? make the boom flamable?? XD

The dry ice evaporates, thus the pressure in the bottle increases and the bottle expands until the plastic fractures and boom, adding petrol wouldnt make it flammable as you'd need an ignition source.

this sentence has me slightly worried, you do not "mess" with liquid nitrogen, you get this stuff on any part of your body and it will instantly freeze and if the part doesnt fall off, you'll lose it through frostbite, just a word of warning :)

Erm... not quite.

You can drip the stuff onto your skin and not worry about it... it evaporates far too quickly to actually draw too much heat from your skin/flesh.

I used to much around with the stuff during my PhD as it was used to cool the electron microscopes. It's awesome stuff.

Well depends how cold you make it, but oxygen boils at a higher temperature so from the point of view of having jugs of it sitting around at atmospheric pressure no, it's also a lot more dangerous.
