Played this online last last and its quite addictive. I maxed everything out on full at 1600x1050 and it runs like a dream.

Very fast paced. I dont have time to put screen shots in as i have to leave for work now but if you loved the other UT games then you will love this.

Not sure why people are talking about a patch, I havent foudn any problems yet

Pfft no time for screenshots? There's ALWAYS time for screenshots!!

I'll whip my copy up with screens in the morning when I get back!

When I get back from the shop with the game in my hand :p

I also need a link to that patch!

Have you seen the amount of ppl complaining on epic forum about it needing a patch? I don't mind devs releasing the patch straight off the bat, it just shows their dedication to making the game right without denying the fact it has flaws. As it stands the retail and demo both play the same, except for the textures and i'm told the flak is fixed.

Besides to me the gui does need some tweaking, and it looks like they've included that. It seems that epic wanted to keep the gui relatively sameish for both platforms, that's why the interface looks so consoley.

Yeah - the original game was awesome, but the follow ups seriously lost it. I'll have to have a look at this demo.

Hungryjoey - thanks for telling me there's still a UT community. If I have any life left after TF2...

See this bugs me....why not wait a week and fix the stuff before release?!

Well the DEMO was a beta remember, it's highly likely that the BETA feedback from the demo spawned the BETA patch currently in testing, since the full game was nigh on finished during the demo release I guess they anticipated patching it shortly after release.

A big list of fixes though....all good mind.

I thought 2004 was outstanding. The UT series are probably my most played games ever!

Certain online store took 2 days to process my credit card - it was only posted this morning. Ah well, I'm away for the weekend anyway. Something to look forward to durig the week, when the servers are actually populated :)

Hmmm my copy of the SE should be arriving today. I will confirm if I have mine too. If anyone else has the SE and has found (or not) the codes let us know.
