Hi,

As some of you know (those that made to Wales anyway...) that my GH2 guitar is dodgy. I tried to return the game/controller to the competitor I bought it from only to find that it is out of their 30 days return policy.

Phoned Activision who want a monstrous £18 quid to change it for a working one. Went back to the competitor website and got a phone number.

Spoke to a nice lady on the phone who informed me that 30 days is the company policy and they can't accept it for return. I said that I was under the impression my contract is with the company and that was for 12 months. I got put on hold only for her to come back and tell me that was all they could do.

At this point I asked if their was an address I could write to at head office as I was under the impression that this was not in compliance with the SoGA.....

Bam! On hold again. Even longer this time. Was asked for contact details and told that the manager would call me back.

I await a phone call :)

Tell them if they don't replace it you'll send them Pork Scratchings until they do (worked for Jericho, you've got nowt to lose)

If the product is under a year old and it has gone faulty then they are under obligation to offer you either a repair or a replacement completely free of charge..

Don't back down and make them pay merry hell :p

Shock horror no phone call!!

Time to bug them again tomorrow I think. 24 hours to call someone back is reasonable I would have thought?

How old is the actual guitar from date of purchase? ( I can only assume it is more than 30 days but less than 12 months from your post). I believe they can offer to repair it for you or refer you to the manufacturer after 6 months. (not 100% certain).

purchased at release in April.

However I was inside it fiddling around last night and sort of fixed it.....and broke it at the same time :p
