Anyone still play Planetarion?

Such a shame they started to charge, I remember at the time I really wanted to play this but just could not remember the reason why I talked myself out of it.

I also used to play it, then when they started charging, me ad my friends moved over to 'Starsphere' which was very similar. It also seems to have vanished off the face of the internet :(
 
it's changed a lot, there's population, covert ops and lots of other gubbins. I used to be quite a serious player back in the day but I think just about everyone i played with has gone into the retirement home.

God I hated those guys! I quit when the game went Pay 2 Play, but prior that that I played in 2-3 seasons...

One morning I woke up to find half of conc bearing down on me lol. My incomings list was off the page. It was a great game where so many hours were wasted, and that F5 key took a hammering :D
 
I used to play this before they started charging. Good fun, but when you wake up and see a massive fleet coming in and everyone else was asleep so you have no defence... it was a bit annoying! I remember towards the end it was almost too much work to attack anyone. You'd either get shed loads of uninitiated roids, or loads of good ones. Either way - it resulted in people targeting you!

Then one day you realise it's all about numbers on a database somewhere, and stopped the maddness.

It was fun when they changed the ticks to 1 per minute though. (or was it per second...)
 
I had to force myself to stop playing that when I got obsessed while doing my A-levels. They made me the commander of my cluster and I found myself sitting in IRC all day watching for attacks and trying to get attackers to pull their forces back and if they didn't trying to rally enough ships to beat them off.

More work than fun tbh.
 
Just signed up i don,t no where to start is anyone playing it now maybe i could join u or something i have a mic btw if that's any good cheers

well tryed it and its not the game for me would take ur life away lol

haha, I remember Fury & 1up :p

Not pld that game for years and years. Not a fan of waking up in the middle of the night because we either:
1. Have to stage an attack.
2. Received text message alerts from a comrade on the other side of the world that he was getting attacked and needed defence.
