New Gigabyte PSU at OCUK

The "ODIN PRO!" made me laugh, but overall looks a very nice power supply. Found a review of it here at Guru3D - they seemed impressed with it.

You beat me to the post! Was gonna do this this morning :)

These look really sweet & a wicked review in PC Plus with an Editor's Choice Award :cool:

I quote from a review of the 550W version (Odin GT);

"Gigabyte isnt a name readily associated with power supplies, but with a long history of serving the enthusiast market, can it bring anything new to the party to make it stand out from the crowd? Well, if this PSU is anything to go by, it certainly can. This is clearly aimed at the enthusiast, with lashings of LEDs, a semi-transparent fan and a decent power rating of 550W.There are four 18A 12V rails available, and a wealth of connectors on the back of this modular PSU. At £90 this is a pricier option. What this extra cash does get you though is exactly the sort of power supply that overclockers and tweakers would be proud of, thanks to the addition of a small USB cable that connects the PSU to your PC. When the supplied P-Tuner software is installed, you have access to a wealth of information allowing you to do many things, including monitor temperatures, voltages and currents as well as controlling the fan speed of the PSU"

Look a really nice PSU. And the best thing? Ours ain't £90 :D
