Fighting a dog

Yes but not full of adrenline in the middle of a fight with a dog.
A punch is not a bite, though.

Rather than a punch in the arm, think of a nail-studded vice around your arm. I think it's fair to say that many people would drop from the shock.

You can expect a moderately sized dog to be able to sustain a 300psi bite, which means a thousand pounds or more of force piercing their teeth into your flesh.

Not like a punch.

there is a method of knocking a dog out from applying pressure to a point in their neck, no idea the technique of it.
Pretty simple - using mechanical force to block a major artery to the head, starving the brain of blood.

Works well on a human - I recall reading that unconsciousness or death occurs in about 15 seconds. Put your fingertips on your own throat - you can feel those big arteries pumping with your pulse, just under the skin. The muscles in your throat probably aren't strong enough to protect it much.

Not the case with a big dog.

Now these are dogs that were bread For tyhe sole purpose of Dog fighting. The reason they are called the "Pitbull" is because the "Pit" is what dogs were made to fight in.
If it grabs hold of you there is Nothing you can do to get it uff because its jaw will just lock and will not release.

i) They were bred to bite bulls in the nose and hang on, not for fighting other dogs (although they later became a favoured breed for dogfighting).
ii) No dog has locking jaws. It's physiologically impossible.

They do, however, have a very strong bite and iron determination to not let go. A bull-baiting dog that lets go will be killed by the bull, so breeds created for bull-baited have that determined bite bred into them.

I see your American Pitbull and raise you one English Mastiff:

"Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war" is a famous line by Shakespeare. These were the literal dogs of war. The largest was over 8 feet long and weighed over 20 stone, though most are about 15 stone. The name means "powerful", for obvious reasons.

You probably wouldn't get attacked by one, though - they're noted for their gentle nature off the battlefield. Although breaking into somewhere guarded by one would be a bad idea - they are guard dogs.

To be fair, a normal human against a dog breed specifically bred for combat and then trained to attack humans is hardly a fair fight. Putting that same dog up against a SAS or Delta Force soldier who has been instructed on how to kill dogs with his bare hands would be a much more even match.
I recall reading an autobiography by someone who claimed to have been in the SAS. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. no way of knowing. He seemed convincing. He mentioned fighting dogs, in connection with an incident in which his unit was concerned about being detected by dogs on their way to their objective (they were already in enemy territory at this point). The advice he was given was to avoid having to fight a dog because you are very likely to get injured. Also true for him, though not relevant to this thread, is that fighting a dog hand-to-hand is likely to make noises that will attract attention and that in many parts of the world many dogs carry a variety of very unwelcome diseases.

A humans bite is more powerful than any dogs, dogs bites puncture, ours rip chunks of flesh out
Source?

It seems unlikely, for evolutionary and simple physiological reasons. Humans have no need to have a more powerful bite than a dog and don't seem to have the physiology to have a more powerful bite than a dog.

Humans have a much shorter leverage than dogs. The world record is 975 pounds, which is almost the same as a hyena!

975 per square foot though... measuring in newtons it's around 850n (about the same as a Labrador) for human males and 4000n for a Hyena :p
