Hi,

I'm just wondering what the default Linksys community SNMP string is? (Or how to find it?).

None of the manual links work for my model (WAG325N) :(

EDIT

Also, any ideas on the correct settings for WPA2-Personal please? I enter a 13 digit password and my wireless PCs accept it but then can't retrieve an IP.

Thanks,
Craig.

IIRC the default on my WRT was public - if the links aren't there, odds are SNMP isn't running though.
What settings for WPA2? You just enter the passphrase, then enter that passphrase on the client machines.

Windows gives the error that the password must be either 5 or 13 ASCII characters... so I changed it to 13. It accepted the password but then had limited or no connectivity :(

EDIT

It seems Windows didn't like the fact that i was using WPA2-Personal. I've changed it to WPA-Personal now and it works :)

Also, community string public doesn't work :(

EDIT

Ah, found it. Completley missed the SNMP section on the admin page :p

It sounds like you've set it to use WEP, not WPA. You'll probably need to install some update to make it use WPA2.
