anyone got and input at running WoW on a 24 inch'er on the rig in my sig

maybe a little css aswell.

if its lacking a little any suggestions on an upgrade, cheap as possible
 
The only upgrade you would need is a better gfx card, oh and maybe a better PSU as 400w just doesnt do it.
8800GT seems to be the flavor at the momnet due to its price (bang for buck)
 
Picking two less sucky games would be an excellent option. Try Eve Online and CoD4 instead :p

If the X800 is anywhere near as good as the X1950 Pro then you should be ok to be honest. I gamed on my Dell 24" for 12 months with a 4200+ and an X1950 Pro 512mb. Coped just fine.
 
If you can find £150, with the money from the sale of your card you could purchase yourself a nice 8800GT.

That'd run WoW on that screen with very high levels of AA and AF, probably at >60fps. :)

got cod4, and would love to learn eve

tryed the trial and was a bit :confused:
 
WoW will run fine on what you have, atlhough you will need to adjust the settings in game to get the right performance that you're happy with.
