Places to import a guitar from America?

(sorry if this is against the rules mods, but this is the best place I've found to ask about guitars)

Other than eBay?

Music123 I've heard good things about but they don't ship internationally anymore. Musiciansfriend can only ship certain brands, none of which I'm looking to buy.

Does anyone know any reputable US sites that ship to the UK?

Also, might as well ask here also, I've got £400 to spend on an electric guitar for christmas. My friend in America who has been playing guitar for 8 years said he's never played a bad Schecter, so I was looking at those. Only problem with Schecter is that they don't sell in the UK. Nowhere I've looked have them, so I can't try one out before I buy. Can anyone recommend something else I should look at? Note I hope to buy from America, and there are lots of good $700-$800 guitars haha, there really is too much to choose from.

I mainly play rock, of all types. I'll be getting an amp for my birthday in March also, for now I just have a 15w practise amp which should do fine.

schecters are sold in soundcontrol (check their website). major branches in the big towns - but not sure about liverpool. they do have quite a small stock of schecters though (not the whole range).

There's no soundcontrol in Liverpool no. There's a couple in Manchester and one in Prestone which aren't too far.

My friend has a Schecter Blackjack and he loves it. £350 isn't a bad price either.

Can't make any promises as he is not supposed to export certain brands but i'll ask.

What Schecter do you want and do you have a best price for it at the moment?

£400 for an S-1 Elite, or £350 for a 006 Blackjack. Probably one of those two, I haven't decided yet. The prices really aren't that bad from soundcontrol. I don't think I'm going to get it cheaper ordering from America to be honest, but I'd like to know what prices you can get :). Unless I can find a used one on eBay.

But eBay + guitar doesn't sound like a very good idea to me haha.
