An English opera singer at Wembley stadium unwillingly lifted the Croatian supporters spirits by mistakenly singing the words of the national anthem as 'My dear, my penis is a mountain' before a European Cup Football match.

The actual line from the anthem is “You know my dear how we love your mountains” and some critics say the gaffe may have relaxed the Croatian players who scored an early goal and went on to beat England 3-2.

Speaking to the BBC the singer said, "I can't even defend myself at the end of the day. It was apparently the last line on the second verse which I made the mistake on", adding, "If I have offended any Croatians, they have my deepest apologies ".

Is it me or does this not make sense?
He should have sung 'Mila kuda si planina' (which roughly means 'You know my dear how we love your mountains').

But he instead sang 'Mila kura si planina' which can be interpreted as 'My dear, my penis is a mountain'.

Thats the same thing twice?

Edit: Just me... read it like 10times, only just noticed the d for an r. Doh.
