A friend's new tattoo

Hey I don't like the tattoo his friend got, I wouldn't do that to myself, but I don't just post something along the lines "omg wtf is that guy doing to his hand" and leave, sensible posts -likes or dislikes- wouldn't get anyone irritated :)

I love the image, I have been a fan of the band since 1993... although everyone does say it's exceedingly well done (and only cost me 50 quid:D)

If you like it, get it. just make very sure you like it. although if you're a skinny so and so like me, remember that the top of the shoulder hurts like &^!$

Awesome sleeve, and if he likes the GH tattoo then fair play, I don't see how that makes him a moron or a plonker.

I'm not a big fan myself of tattoo's but that probably comes from my dad who had both arms covered when he was in his early 20's. He always used to tell me growing up how much he no longer liked the ideas he thought where cool in his youth.
 
Some people are so uptight, it looks fun to me. So what if its from a game, hes been inspired to do something and fair play to him.

Everyone harping on about jobs and explaining it to children, christ.. its up to the individual to decide. And for explaining to children, if my father had a random tattoo, i doubt i would cry myself to sleep at night
 
it's bloody disgraceful that i knew who it was from the wee bit of his hand that i could see in the first picture.

and terribly amused at the rubbish job comment. neither shannon nor shane have ANY idea what they're doing blatantly.
 
Its probably all ******** to be honest. I generally try to block out what people say if they have stupidly retarded facial hair and stretched earings, or moronic tatoos. I had to post in this thread however. That guy looks like a complete moron and to all you who come out with the obligitory 'But it makes him happy/he's an individual' comments I say this: I'm a ******* individual but I don't need to spend hours of my life letting someone draw pictures all over me, or spend years stretching my earholes just so I can show the whole world how of an individual (read: moron) I am.

As for him being your mate.. It looks as if you've just worshipped his online blog or something. Do you know his name? Surely if he started the first online casino there's going to be a lot of stuff about him on the net, especially considering he looks like an absolute fruitcake. If this is true of course..

It's amazing how upset other people get over things like this, body modification is nothing new, people shave, people have hairstyles, women wear makup and pierce their ears, these are all accepted parts of our culture.

In other cultures large tattoos, lobe and lip stretching and implants under the skin are totally normal so am I expected to believe all of these people are attention seeking morons?

Some people like the cultural aspect and roots of this stuff and see it as an art form. Sure there will be some attention seeking tattoo wearers but they are far more likely to be the girl down the pub with something she picked out of the tattoo shop window.
