To those of you who have ordered the EVGA Crysis package

A quote from Gibbo today:

"EVGA: got some communication from them today saying stock is shipping but they can't confirm what is shipping and they said NO Crysis which makes me very dissapointed with them and this performance has seriously jeapardised the OcUK relationship with them because all they have done is upset our customers"

I am glad I changed my order to be honest - do EVGA deserve our money after the way they have handled this?

Perhaps people should consider switching their order to other brands....

I am waiting for the EVGA Superclocked ..

but given the circumstances might change to a BFG OC2 which are due in today, what do ya think ??

Quite a lot of people have switched from EVGA to BFG... I'm one of them.

Since Gibbo said that EVGA themselves dont really know what is shipping out, it is possible tht the superclocked version wont be here for a while either.
Personally I would switch to the BFG OC2 if you want an overclocked card...
It doesn't matter much to me - I can overclock mine myself anyway...

I am now bald as someone else at EVGA has just informed me that 400pc of Crysis Superclocked has shipped which is different from what the owner of EVGA told me this morning.

I am seeking definite confirmation of exactly what has shipped but lets hope this latest news is correct and we will indeed have all EVGA SKU's in the warehouse this week.

Ive swithced to a BFG 0C2 as well. Dont trust evga now and i wanted my pc before chrimbo. The BFG has shipped today along with all my other bits. superb. I sould notice a large difference from x2 3800 1gb and 7950gt to a q6000,4gb and 8800GT.

Ive also ordered a BFG OC2 today from an EVGA SC, sick of the constant delays with EVGA as it has been holding up my £600 order for weeks.

My BFG OC2 along with the whole order has been shipped today and will be delivered tomorrow.

I know the lack of good info is BS, no excuse for that.

But they are one of if not the best brand IMO, and thats why they are scarce as all peeps want them esp the SC and SCC (hard to get in UK).

As for a free game, I for one dont buy a Card to get a game as I have said before.

Remember Foxcon are getting slaves to make these Nvidia cards for now until Nvidias prefered Manu is free of other work and can make next batch of cards.

Still not gotten my hopes up about getting it at the end of this week.

Just put all the fuss of it to the back of my mind, and it'll be Merry Christmas to me when it does finally turn up.

I changed my order on Friday, switched to the Asus 512 MB edition which was in stock - came with CoH Opposing fronts too, and arrived yesterday. RESULT!

after weeks of waiting for the EVGA SC I gave up yesterday and changed my order to a BFG OC2 ..

it will be arriving today

A little part of me has been telling me to change order for ages (I changed originally from the original EVGA stock version for the "Crysis" Edition), but for some reason I want the EVGA warranty.
Maybe I'm enjoying the wait.

Whats the point in 10 years or lifetime warranty? in 10 years time the card will be so outdated, it would be like trying to run crysis on a voodoo1 now.
