Minesweeper was cool

I guess it shows practice makes perfect (or damn close to it)...Holy crap is all i can say, some of those are inhuman
its not, most likely, you ever remember how fast tetris got right before you got owned? like i said, its just memorising which pieces come out, which way they need turning and where to stick them. boring and pointless.

Like musicians, learning which keys to press or chords to play, no skill at all![]()
none of the others require you to see the screen really either. street fighter was only marginally less good imho because, well the other person could have memorised it just as well so the guy was at least slightly better than the guy he was fighting.
the least impressive there is the street fighter imo.. some people can own anyone just by hearing the game (not seeing screen)

except, not all, but lots of musicians like to change things slightly each time, making it slightly random. but the point is, they write NEW songs, and they create, playing is the easy part, creation of music is what musicians are about. I can play the guitar pretty damn well, and the difference between me, and slash, is i can't write music to save my life. thats what makes him a far better musician than i could ever be.
these guys don't create new levels, they memorise and repeat ad nauseum till they've got it down. the mario thing is cool, but you play a level through 50 times till you perfect it then do a run through. you think that guy just went, hmmmmm, i'll play mario this one time, record it? probably took weeks to get that done after months of playing it. same with a lot of the video's.
i think you'll also find the tetris isn't random, while you can find versions of tetris that are less random, you can find versions that aren't. pretty much the only player reacting to difference circumstances is the street fighter vid, which is the most impressive IMHO. but it still came down to the fact he played so much he knew the timing of the chunlin kick combo so the blocking had been memorised and was automatic.
