Heres the full review for anyone that doesn't read CPC :)

Performance indicates whether the card is high-end or not, Just because something is expensive doesn't mean its any good

Yeah but even the "GT" naming has been associated more with mainstream cards. Historically the ultra has always been the top of the range and the most expensive, but theyve changed names so much over the years its hard to keep up.

Ah, I see what you mean i thought you meant that because it didnt have £600000 as a price tag it was ****

Its not really a high end card though is it? Price wise its definately not.

Hehe two *happy* ASUS 8800GT owners there! :)

I do think though that it could have been *any* 8800GT, just so happens ASUS got one mailed early to the CPC guys for review.

think id agree there, if they'd had an evga or bfg at the same time it'd be 1 of those on review im sure of it, on a side note, they said @ 660 theyre card got Xtremely hot, mine only runs at 75 when oc'd :S is that low or wat? lol

Heh, read the above article whilst in Tesco earlier, was 660/970 all they managed even with additonal cooling? That seems a bit tame to me!

well theyre idea of additional cooling was "a 120mm fan pointed at it" prolly not a gd idea to use that method going any higher, it wont cool as well as a properly installed aftermarket cooler :p

There not the most hardcore overclockers at CPC, but in some respects thats a good thing because when you see their results you can be fairly sure that you can achieve better! ;) :D
