Maserati Birdcage and the old Land Speed Record cars (Henry Seagraves 1000hp Sunbeam, 2 Bluebirds and Goldenrod) are the cars that stand out for me.

Looks like a mock up or something. IIRC they make loads of clay scale models of the car for testing etc. I'm probably wrong tho
