hey all with an 8800gt.

How many find that their card has a sweet spot, and even though the card goes higher your 3dmark06 scores get less?

mines best @ 700/1750/2000 getting 11144

and although it will do 740/1850/2050 my 3dmark (in vista64) go down by around 700 points. only been testing with a couple of drivers, but with no real performance diffrence between them.

no real fps diff in cod4 between 700 and 740 either maybe 2.

Might be that its not 100% stable at those clocks, run atitool for a abit and see what it comes up with

I've heard a few people say the card gets slower when overclocked quite hard?

Some sort of throttling maybe? Not sure how that works or if maybe its something to do with heat? but since you have an uber cool card I guess its not heat related?

I need to clock my processor to keep up with graphics card, if I run 3Ghz 660/1625/1050 on my 8800 I get lower scores, if I clock it up to 3.4Ghz it'll gladly give me an extra 300-500 points. Excluding the CPU result of course, I only run the graphics test to work that out.

My score gets a tad lower at 730 core over 720 core.

Can get 12k with 720 core, crysis bench stays at 40fps average from 700 onwards.
