samsung 2032 gw bw?

Is the Gw and Bw regional coding? or are they actually different models??

also is there a panel lottery with this (these) model (s) ??

I am english but working in Korea, here there is a 2032Gw i want to get.....when i checked the back of the monitor it had a 'W' where i thought i would expect to see 'S'

any ideas??
 
doesnt anyone have any advice??? this is the only sections in overclockers where people dont reply ....

i just wanna know if there is a panel lottery with 2032 bw/gw and if anyone knows what the differences with the gw and bw?? is there a 2032gw in the uk??

Hi in this case its more likely people just don't know. Try contacting Samsung directly?
 
Just a thought, the B may stand for 'Black' and the W for 'Widescreen'. Even if that's the case, I'm still unsure what the G could be.

people do reply in here ;) I believe the GW and BW are the same screen, probably just with different codes for different parts of the world. As far as I know, there is no specific "panel lottery" with the SM2032 model, it uses a CPT 2ms G2G TN Film panel. With these models though, it's always possible there will be different panels used, many manufacturers have to do this, it's nothing unusual really. I wouldn't get too concerned with it though to be honest. Your graphics card should be adequate to run 1680 x 1050 resolution, but will obviously depend on the game and settings used as to how well it will cope. That can be said for any screen though really :)

ahhh thank you all very much, i didnt mean to moan .... i was just getting frustrated. I will probably think about gettin one...

I found the panel on tftcentral.... I will check if they use the same one in Korea....
