When overclocking it voids warrentee, but how do they know you overclocked? except the fact u blew the cpu up pushing a bit too much.

cuase i was thinking if i buy a chip and it didn;t overclock good i can some how claim warentee and get a new one and keep doing so untill i get one that can overclock good.

You can only return it within 7 days under distance selling act provided that the box is still sealed afaik, even so you get refund rather than replacement. So once the box is opened you can only rma for replacement if it has gone faulty. Although OEM chips maybe different though, not sure if there is any kind of seal on OEM CPUs.

Who provides the warranty?

OEM processor family
The manufacturer or supplier from whom you bought your computer system generally provides a warranty. We recommend you consult the warranty documentation that came with your computer system as it may contain additional warranty coverage information.
Boxed Processor family
Intel does provide a limited warranty on its line of Intel boxed processors (whether purchased separately or as part of a computer system).

from intel site

anyways i was only joking :D just an idea really just hope i get a good chip in first go :D

Heavily armed Intel Police, in their jazzy coloured cleanroom suits, will burst into your house at dawn and whisk you away to their top secret base. There you will spend days suffering various excruciatingly painful methods of torture until you admit you overclocked it.
After that they give you the chip back and say "Sorry but we can't replace it.".

PK!

You cant blow a cpu unless you put a stupid amount of volts through as such that it cant shut its self down in time before damage is done.

O and you really didn't think your name through. What about when you learn how to overclock? Going to have to make a new name then so that seems a bit pointless.
