Its not OcUK's fault that Nvidia can't make cards.![]()
The cards are there if you read further up. Just waiting for the dispatch anxiously.
Yeah i know the cards are there, but everyones going off at OcUK because they can't get them out straight away when the guys are working flat out doing their best as they will have bloody thousands of backed up orders from weeks and weeks ago to get through, not to mention other orders they get that aint even for GT's.
Only counted one person having a go at OcUK in this thread, and that was in part to do with other problems he had.Yeah i know the cards are there, but everyones going off at OcUK because they can't get them out straight away when the guys are working flat out doing their best as they will have bloody thousands of backed up orders from weeks and weeks ago to get through, not to mention all their other orders that they will have to get through as well.
Its Nvidia's fault, not OcUK's.
Whats the point in 10 years or lifetime warranty? in 10 years time the card will be so outdated, it would be like trying to run crysis on a voodoo1 now.
Just shipped.
Someone got to work early this morning.![]()
They are the most sought after Brand for the 8800GT so thats why they are short of items.
No excuse for lack info though on EVGA's part, but they do have good customer REP overall but UK is last to get anything, the Yanks got all your GT's weeks ago inc the SSC's
And I advise you all to go to the EVGA site and read the Step Up FAQ, Im pretty sure you just send the card, they dont want all the software. (not 100% sure).
Clearly states you get to keep any games given with the card and they don;t want them back so makes the Crysis EVGA card a good buy if you intend to use the step up as the full (£210????) purchase price is used for the step-up and you get to keep Crysis. So not a bad deal really
I see plenty of retailers in the uk now have EVGA KO GT's in stock (next one up from SC) but I have asked ocuk if they intend to stock these and when but no reply from them.
