To those of you who have ordered the EVGA Crysis package

The cards are there if you read further up. Just waiting for the dispatch anxiously.

Yeah i know the cards are there, but everyones going off at OcUK because they can't get them out straight away when the guys are working flat out doing their best as they will have bloody thousands of backed up orders from weeks and weeks ago to get through, not to mention all their other orders that they will have to get through as well.

Its Nvidia's fault, not OcUK's.

Not in the slightest "going off" at OcUK.

Only counted one person having a go at OcUK in this thread, and that was in part to do with other problems he had.

The comments in the 24" OcUK monitor thread regarding price changes were far worse and even less warranted.

Whats the point in 10 years or lifetime warranty? in 10 years time the card will be so outdated, it would be like trying to run crysis on a voodoo1 now.

I know what you mean, but some people like to use cards for many years in older systems. For example I've got a gf2mx which is over 7 years old in a PC at my dad's house. Fine for desktop work and it would be nice to have a free replacement if it broke.

Just shipped.

Someone got to work early this morning.

HI there

Were doing our best, again warehouse was packing until 7-8pm last night and even Mr and Mrs Spie were helping.

This morning it was an early start as today the backlog will be cleared and we shall catch up.

Too put things into perspective not only has OcUK had to ship a good extra 1000+ orders over usual but we've also had our busiest week ever on record too, so we've also had more orders than usual plus the 1000+ orders we've had to ship on these 8800 GT's, not to mention several hundred Asus EE PC's arrived yesterday too which needed shipping out.

So as you can imagine OcUK is mega busy and were doing everything we can to cope and get orders out in the shortest of time.

Fact is OcUK has had 90% of the UK allocation on this Crysis bundle, our competitors have had very little in comparison, so even though EVGA had communication issues they did come up with the goods and made sure OcUK was a priority and got stock to us first and gave us nearly all of it. :)

I am very, very, appreciative too Gibbo.

Keep up the excellent work.

*(the staff can have a beer on me :p)

*not really, I'm tight

They are the most sought after Brand for the 8800GT so thats why they are short of items.

No excuse for lack info though on EVGA's part, but they do have good customer REP overall but UK is last to get anything, the Yanks got all your GT's weeks ago inc the SSC's

And I advise you all to go to the EVGA site and read the Step Up FAQ, Im pretty sure you just send the card, they dont want all the software. (not 100% sure).

Clearly states you get to keep any games given with the card and they don;t want them back so makes the Crysis EVGA card a good buy if you intend to use the step up as the full (£210????) purchase price is used for the step-up and you get to keep Crysis. So not a bad deal really

I see plenty of retailers in the uk now have EVGA KO GT's in stock (next one up from SC) but I have asked ocuk if they intend to stock these and when but no reply from them.

OCUK have the SSC on Preorder now.

SSC is another £18 over what I paid for the Superclocked edition and doesn't come with Crysis either which is a £25 game. I could use the step-up-program to upgrade to it for probably nothing? I think however I'll wait for the D9E.

The card should be the primary concern not free Games IMO.

It would not be worth your time or money to Step Up from an SC to an SSC, see what clocks you get 1st.

confound it!

Dammit, I have a whole pc on the way, asus p5k premium, q6600 go, 4gb geil, auzentech xfi, raptorx, the list goes on, my graphics card is none other than the 8800gt evga crysis sc. I preordered so mine got reserved with the influx yesterday, however only 2 were reserved, which apparantly got lost in the warehouse T_T looks like I'll have to wait until they either find it or get the next shipment :(:(:(

Great service from OCUK apart from this slipup, I must have changed my mind on parts about 3 or 4 times in my week since preordering lol! Went from abit IX38 quad gt to gigabyte x38-dq6 and having decided x38 is pointless, went with this week only's asus p5k premium! That was just the mobo, Martin from ocuk probably hates me now for calling so much, but then I can't help being an indecisive bugger :D
