To those of you who have ordered the EVGA Crysis package

Not sure on that one i am sure people have rma'd to bfg before having changed the stock cooling without issues just put the stock one back on before sending.
The point is it looks good seeing 10 year or lifetime warranty when it comes to a resale that's about it but it does work oddly enough as BFG & eVGA are easily the best sellers and command the higher sale price on auction sites.
What's easier to sell a card with 6 months warranty left or lifetime warranty left ? like saying a hard drive with 6 months warranty left can command the same price as one with 4 years warranty left.
But the eVGA and BFG are disgustingly overpriced due to this stock shortage they should be around £160 not £200.

Some have had issues with BFG and there so called lifetime warrenty.

EVGA is lifetime in US its 10years in EU.

Also officially EVGA let you change the cooler, BFG and no others do, and will void your warrenty if they can prove you did so.

Why do you think there is a lack of EVGA SC cards ?, the answer is cause the Yanks bought them in a matter of hours on a site with a name thats not a "bad egg" and they sold the Vanilla model//SC Model/KO Model and SSC Models all with a $40 difference from top to bottom, even then EVGA kicked there butts as they were $30 overpriced compaired to the EVGA store.

I think it changes to Overdue automatically when the ETA date is reached. Although would be nice if it did that at ETA + 1 day instead.

Hi there

All Crysis backorders CLEARED and ALL will ship today!

We had about 30pc spare but unfortunately in the 10 minutes they've been in stock they've all sold instantly. A very much in demand product. We have more due Friday and more On Monday. :)

Looks like the price has gone up too since Sunday. I got it for £174.99+vat and its now £184.99+vat.

I got it at the price it was first on OcUK for :p. Still not shipped mind... where's the F5 .gif?
Wasn't that weeks ago?

Question: Do you have to return the game when you do the 90 day upgrade?
Good question, I'd also like to know this. If its an online game doesn't it make it a bit worthless if you've already used the key? Or to put it another way, whats to stop you from continuing to use the key?

Bit pee'd off i was waiting for the crysis version for the past 2 weeks phoning almost everyday.

I came to the warehouse Saturday and brought nearly 2k worth of bits everything but my card as it still wasn't in stock even thou i was told it would be, i tried to get some info out of the salesman, but he was extremely unhelpful.(even down to the fact he messed my order up 3 times, it wouldn't of been so bad but id printed it off he only had to look at the print)

I changed my order Tuesday to a BFG as i've been waiting weeks now for the EVGA to come in stock. So Its cost me another 30 quid on top of the 200 quid my card cost..

When id spent all my doh relised id forgot to grab some thermal paste and asked for some thermal paste to be thrown in he just wouldn't do it, i mean come on i give you 2k he could have at least threw in some bloody thermal paste..:(

The 8800GT episode as pee'd me off to say the least. if it was down to the fact i've used OCUK a lot in the past id never use them again due to all this..:mad:

I think EVGA had been giving OcUK bad stock info/delivery dates. If OcUK get told by EVGA that they should get stock on a particular date, then that's all they've got to go on. If stock doesn't arrive, of course its easy to blame OcUK for bad service but not necessarily their fault.

They could decide in the future not to sell EVGA cards anymore, but I for one wouldn't want that to happen.

They are the most sought after Brand for the 8800GT so thats why they are short of items.

No excuse for lack info though on EVGA's part, but they do have good customer REP overall but UK is last to get anything, the Yanks got all your GT's weeks ago inc the SSC's

And I advise you all to go to the EVGA site and read the Step Up FAQ, Im pretty sure you just send the card, they dont want all the software. (not 100% sure).
