Just read this in NME, they are the Favs and most popular to get one of 3 Headlind spots, followed closely by Muse!! Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen, Radiohead and Kylie Minogue.

What are your views on on this?

Are you going to go this time around?

Whos going then?

Muse would be amazing, as ive never been to Glasto before, im hoping to make a enterance to this show this year, seen Lemar, went with an Ex due to a spare ticket and a friend letting her down, Saw T4 on the Beach this year, im hoping to see Foo Fighters, Linking Park, The Wombats (maybe) and the all so awsome Kaiser Chiefs who rocked T4..

Glasto is apparantly the must go to event if your into music..

I think ill go this year. Tent, bit of dosh, bit of food and im there.. Oh and a Ticket ;)

I would only consider going there if Radiohead were headlining and I had missed out on their tour tickets.

Besides all my friends will be going to Leeds festival again.

Im their this year, for deff, i heard it was almost the best show on earth this year, so next, im deff there, its on a weekend, a 20 min train away (Bradford), I think im most likely going to this one over any.

EDIT: Somehow posted a comment to another thread in here, how the hell it happened is beyond me, sorry.

Bank holiday weekend.

This year wasn't the best lineup ever, but the atmosphere, the scorching weather (best 5 days of the year by a mile while we were there, and I'm ginger so had to wear a huge hat whenever out of the shade.), all made it excellent.

Look slike I'm going to miss everything this summer, seems I'll be away from May '08 til August '09 - I knew this already, however, so made sure I had a mental summer this year :D

I've gradually become less and less enthusiastic about Glasto. Same with any other large ones really. I've ben to V and Reading in the past, and now tend to only go to the smaller (~10,000 people) events - the Glade and Beautiful Days in particular. Maybe I'm getting old, I just can't be doing with the hassle of walking miles to stand 500m from a stage while some muppet spills Carling over me...Also helps that all of my friends can at least get tickets.

Bit harsh maybe :p But still, there's plenty of people after Glasto tickets without me throwing my hat in there. Wouldn't mind seeing the Verve though. Still quite like to go to Roskilde at some point, I see Radiohead are playing there this year.
