My 360 never died today

In all honesty, if it was going to be anyone, you knew it would be Mr Men :). He defends the 360 with a passion, but knows the one thing he can't defend is the reliability :D

still curious about his own 360's history and status...

It did, I think he means his new one.

(Me also, my current one is fine but that is a replacement of a pevious knackered one). I'm not sure if we are listing here those whose is working at the moment, or those who have never had one break.

Nov 2005 launch day 360 still going strong here. Even holds up to 29c room temps like it's in atm :)
 
Mine started to die last night. :( Keeps restarting after 15-20 minutes of gameplay, and then tells me the disc tray is open. And won't let me take the game out without turning off the console for half an hour.

Is it not true that all these 360 die threads are noticed more? simply because all of us who's console is not dead do not post a thread like that? You know negative comments normally get noticed more than positive. My 360 is not a launch machine, was bought about a year ago.

I do not need to defend the 360 with any passion, it defends itself with its sheer quality games and superb live service, and as mine ain't broken down then I tend not to care if it does for others, just like I don't worry if your car will break down or your TV. :)

I'm just having a laugh based on your past reputation :D

The threads annoy me some days, as genuine threads get lost in the rabble as well. I assumed this was a light hearted thread.

On a serious note, I genuinely think there are more members here who have had at least one broken machine than not. But polls etc are alwasy flawed becasue people lie on both sides of the fence, so we will never know for sure.

I agree negatives alway sget mentioned more than postives buts that's life.

Damn turned both mine on and got a single green light on both. Who do I ring?

Despite their being 150 active threads on what do do I feel the need to start a thread asking exactly the same questions as everybody else.
 
Mine's still going. Had it just over a year but iirc the manufactured date was last Summer. Gets a lot of use too.
 
Mine's fine and my old one at my brother in laws (23 months old) is going strong too.

The trick to keeping them going is to play on it every day and don't, whatever you do, take it on a road trip to Wales.

Mines ok still.

I had it last july and it gets a lot of use

edi: when it was first swtiched on it had 3 red lights,i turned it off and back on again and it was fine.:confused:
