HX620W enough for Crossfire 3870?

Yeah, that would run that setup fine.

Probably running HD2900Pro's in X-Fire too, oh why oh why did I not spend the extra... :(.
 
That's because with a full system as well as the two cards, you would be perilously close to 520W.

Yes but the HX520W should still be able to manage more than the 580W Hiper since it has quite a bit more on the rails than the hiper.
 
Jumping on the thread so i'll keep it short; putting together a q6600/8800GT/1 raptor 1 750gb/IP35 pro/Auzen Prelude/6400 crucial' ram.
I was gonna get the 520Corsair HX but then I thought I might get one of the higher end nvidia 9800 series next year, would it be wiser to spend the extra £30 for the 620W or should I be safe either way with 520, cheers !:)

I think its likely a 9800 series will run off a HX520W especially if they try and make it efficient on that 55nm process.
