Is that now something like 3-4 times in the past 6 years or so Villa & Man Utd have been drawn against each other in the 3rd round, feels like.

I thought we (Villa) might have a shout at a decent run in the cup this year as well.

Well, thats villas cup run over before it starts.

FA Cup is always tricky - dont presume anything (apart from injuries, bans etc theres always the weather, not to mention being away)

Villa are a great side with a great boss -dont count your chickens

Arsenal and Liverpool (and Chelsea) got plum draws - even though they are away

4 all prem ties

Not really, i want us to go all out for the CL, i think you'll find Fergie will as well

And playing <insert pish> away on a cold wet and windy Febuary does no-one any good :)

I know what you are saying - but to give games away that are winable isnt inspiring for the team either, and we cant afford to drop any more points in the PL otherwise we will be scrabbling for 3rd at best (and worrying about automatic qualifying for next year)

I didnt mean give it away, just the fact i wont be that upset if we dont go through, although it is nice beating Villa

Same here. I rate the FA cup only just above the League Cup tbh. :o

It wouldn't surprise me if the reserve team got selected.

If we put the full side out we will blow Villa away, you know it, I know it.

Quite handy that a few decent PL sides will be going out and playing QPR will be great fun around here, they've still got a fair support in these parts plus they're not doing bad at the moment.
