You dont, just listen to ppl on here who have the game and played it, take The witcher thread, some review sites gave it a bad review but many ppl after reading the thread have went and bought it and have liked it.

Even on forums people will always have different opinions, take the Blacksite: Area 51, there was one thread where people couldn't have rated the game lower, saying it's absolutely dog poop and there's the newer thread where people say it's nice.

Best thing is to get it and find it out yourself if you have any interest in the game and flog it quickly or return it to shop afterwards if you think it's rubbish.

I thought the game was pretty good.
The story line is excellent but the gameplay falls short.

The endings (yes, there is 2) are a little poor though.

# In the laaaaaaand of the freeeee # or not.

I agree with Jeff, the engine is really not suited to combat, the Hitman engine has always been about stealth, when you mess up a mission on Hitman and the bullet's start flying you realise just how cumbersome that engine really in for combat.

It's nothing new why do Vauxhall send 100 motoring jorno's to South Africa to review the new corsa:-

a) the car was designed for that environment and the readers need to know how it will cope in the blazing desert conditions of swindon.

b) the jornos might give a nice review as they were put in a positive frame of mind following their business class flight and the 3 nights in a 5 star hotel all expenses paid.

Clarkson said all this in one of his books or colums years ago and since he slagged of vauxhall for years they dont ask him to review their cars anymore, although they appear to be friends again now since the vxr's.

The PR companies do all they can to get good reviews despite what the game actually plays or performs like. Unforunatly Which don't do computer game reviews.

2 endings.....

gonna look for it on youtube definatly not replaying that last mission cos it took donkeys, this reminds me of bioshock... I thought it was an ok game nothing special but bitterly poor ending, yet still better then the kane and lynch ending I experienced.

Yea its simular to Hitman in the respect that there both 3rd person. :o

Yeah true they both had different gameplay styles, it was bound to remind anyone of Hitman considering its the same engine and 3rd person view.

Id at a pinch say I prefered Kane and Lynch although would have been nice if they added some more different levels like a sniping one or one where u need to infiltrate a building... but then again it would then be hitman so couldnt win:o

I like how everyone is talking about his dismissal due to his Kane & Lynch review as being a fact, when not one party involved has confirmed it, or any evidence supplied, only supposition.

^ There is no reason to fire him, the review was no different to any other review. Facts were stated, Eidos didn't like it and most likely threatened to pull the investment in gamespot they had.

Which company is going to admit to this? none. the fact they have declined comment puts them at fault and the new news above proves this.
