TF2 Death Cam (800x600)

I always get some intresting death cams when playing TF2 so I've started to save some of them.
Anybody else do this? Try and keep them to 800x600 or just link to a larger image if you can. :)

Be intresting to see what people have. :)









 
Just press the screenshot key when you die like it tells you to. F5 default. I've got into the habit of just pressing it every time I die so I have thousands to look through...
 
Ah, so the button when it asks you to press it saves a screeny with less HUD ? I always just use Fraps but if this saves screenies better then cool!
 
Yup, saves it with less HUD with the deathcam, not sure about in-game though I'd have to check.

Edit: Just noticed I have some other screenshots in the same folder, and they all have the HUD, so I think it only works for the death cam.

yeh only works for the deathcam. I kind of want the hud there for any non-deathcam screenshots. If you want to hide the hud you could always make a more complex bind to hide the hud, wait, take a screenshot, turn hud back on. I think hud on / off is cl_showhud iirc :)
 
Where do the pictures get saved too ??

Edit: found screenshot, but it comes up as a TGA file, how do you open this as a picture...

If you want something free to open them in you can use Paint.NET

I think you can probably change the bind from screenshot to jpeg in the console / cfg files. Not sure if deathcam works right like that though. Not tried it

Taking Death Cam shots through F5 Button, but it only takes pictures of the person that has killed you, is it ment to also include a shot of yourself in the picture????

Never noticed anyone cheating before. There was talk of one lad cheating while I was on but I think he was just owning us rather than cheating.

Why do people feel the need. Especially with TF2 which can't really be taken seriously.

I assume it was some sort of bug he was exploiting with the collision.. as thats outside the level and .. Was a bit annoying but i did kill him :)

Ive seen people do this quite a few times with Engineers placing Sentries "under" the map so they can get you but you cant get them.. very annoying. -_-
