Just wondering... why are all the 256mb 3850s in stock, and theres a severe shortage of 3870xts? Surely the 3870s will be more popular?

I dunno about that, for the most part they're still easy to find and most of the time available at good prices.

Apparently a duff resistor on 70's isn't it? So they putting out more 50's than 70's until the issue is resolved. (i could have read wrong somewhere).

Well, ive been waiting for ages for the monitor and the 3800 i wanted to come into stock and at a good price. Ive got a buyer for my 7900gs and don't want to keep him waiting for much longer. Looks like ill have to settle for the over priced 3870xt

I got a 3870 for £130 last week. Not overpriced at that level. If you can't find one below £140-£150, get a GT instead

a friend of mine got his 8800gt for £153 delivered. But u do have to search for it. I can say no more
