I'm looking for a small tv just for the bedroom, and the Samsung Pebble 20" seems to be in my price range. I'm a little confused though, as it has a monitor code, but it's listed on ocuk under tvs.
What is it like as a tv? Is the sound ok? I'm not interested in the freeview with it, as it would be connected to a cable box.
Please help me decide if it's worth going for this over a normal 19" lcd tv.

Its a monitor not a TV. It only has DVI, VGA connections and no speakers. Will be tricky to setup as a TV. Still possible though..

Sorry to bump your thread Vixen but did you ever buy one of these? If so, what are your impressions? Or has anyone else got one?

I'm in the same boat as you were, am looking at this screen for the bedroom, and I want something with HDMI for my XBOX360.

There is another version of the Pebble which also has a built in TV tuner its only 20" but has HDMI, Componant, Scart, RF, DVI and VGA.

Its around the same price as the 22" Pebble

Well, i have the 20" pebble but it isnt the tuner version. In terms of picture quality its pretty good for the price. There is a bit of backlight bleed at the bottom of the screen but this was only very noticeable at first because of the typical samsung default setting of 'oh god, oh god, i'm blind' on brightness.

No noticeable ghosting, good colour reproduction but the stand sucks and can't be replaced. You can only tilt it backwards and forwards and it wobbles a little if you jog the surface its on (not a product breaking complaint though).

I'm not disappointed with my purchase.

I've got the 2032MW, and I'm using it mainly as a PC monitor, but I've got a Wii plugged in and also a freeview box and it looks fine. Didn't notice any bleed but that's probably cos I'm been using a really old LCD for the last year or so!!

any idea if samsung are going to release a 22" pebble with all the extra connectivity? already have a 22" pebble. want a 2nd with all the extra connections to match.....
