What do you Believe

I don't think so. If the 'priest' does such a thing but with no intention of changing, without seeking to stop committing such a disgusting act then I dont believe in their forgiveness.
Forgiveness requires a determination to change and not to carry on in the same sins.
But surely some part of the bible must say that violating a child is wrong, if so a priest must know this.

What does tha say about the power of "God" and the value of the Bible??

You seem to be missing the point slightly. Our sin sets up apart from God, but God has such immense love for us, he created us and he loves us with a pure love.

And you seem to be missing my points entirely seeing as how you haven't even acknowledged them. How can a god who is so full of love for us have comitted so much evil in the bible?

I believe this Universe is just someone dreaming, one day he will wake up and we all cease to exist.

How can a god who is so full of love for us have committed so much evil in the bible?

God didn't commit the evil, he does hand us over to the consequences of our sins.

I admit that I don't have all the answers regarding these subjects, sorry for that.
I'm going to be studying these issues closer in coming weeks, we're going through things like is in Church at the moment, to help us to understand it better so we don't have a wrong view of God.
I realise that I have attributed things to God that simply cannot be from him, because if would completely contradict his character.

If "God" created created everything in 6 days how do you explain some of the terrible diseases that exist.

Did "God" create them or did they evole?

Working on the "God" created everything theory why would he create disease, was it a test, a punishment or a way pressure people into believing?

I believe that we are put on earth for one reason only and that is to reproduce and carry on our race. However depressing it may seem, but i think that, that is the truth. I just live life to how i want to live it without harming others and dont think a religion should tell me what i can do.. what i can eat.. etc etc. i think people belong to religions so that they have a meaning to life and without it they feel they are nothing. But if there was a "god" why would he want you to praise him, her, it, etc surely it would want you to live life to the full? But i just think us being a race are far to intelligent for our own good hence many having to have reasons for life and many needing religion...

In case people find my opinion offensive i still respect other peoples views but this is just mine :)

God did not create disease, it is not a test or punishment sent by God, I used to believe this in some measure but I've been corrected in my thinking.

Disease, illness and death are all results of sin entering our world. God created the world as a perfect place, God described it as 'good' so there was nothing wrong in it. The rebellion of man not only corrupted us but creation also, so that now all things are a distortion of what they were, meaning that all things now die and degrade.

Wasn't the story of creation supposed to be an allegory?

So Thyphoid, influenza and Cholera are as a result of sin !!!

Do you really expect people to beleive that !!

I dont meant to sound rude or belittling in anyway but I think it takes more faith to believe in nothing than it does to believe in God. I praise you for your faith.

In praising God we find life, and life in abundance, because we are set free from the law of sin and death.

Evolution and the Big Bang are basically proven. God did not create us or the Universe. I am an agnostic simply because i cannot prove that God does not exist, but im border-line atheist because the more i look at the Bible, i always find contridictions that cannot be explained.

And I really hate the answers that Christians give to questions like "How do you God exists?" and they say "Just have faith". Thats really not good enough. These are my personal views, so don't take anything seriously, im not starting an argument here.
