Where, I'd like to know so I can look at it myself.
Free will is no answer either. Free will is just choice. What you chose from is the point. As the Creator of everything, all the infinite choices must stem from God, either that or he is not truely omnipotent. Hence the concept of good and evil stems from God and he gave us free will to chose which path we take. Free will doesn't explain how the choice of evil got there in the first place.
i dont really believe IN anything but i probably believe that there is a higher power due to something called logic.
Oh wait yeah....i believe IN sheep. Good ole sheep...let the sheepdog guide you and the nice shepherd keep you safe so you never have to think....
ultimately we are all sheep. Remember your place...

(yes i know)
Wow. If you people are getting your knickers in a twist about the bible and Christians then you'd have a real hard time understanding my beliefs!
and have a tendency to dress up in robes!
I love science and logic but these things don't give me comfort. Only Love and my faith does that.
Can I join your religion?
I believe this Universe is just someone dreaming, one day he will wake up and we all cease to exist.
Why did god let his "son" suffer, after his son prayed and practically begged to not be killed?
I suspect the reply to this to be something along the lines of how he was giving his only son for us... Or something like that, but that just dosn't make sense with me, Jesus screaming "my god, my god, why have you forsaken me" on the cross. It really dosn't seem like the work of a very nice guy.
It is compulsary for us to study religion GCSE at our school, and for two and a half hours a week I try to keep an open mind to what I'm being taught, but it has never really stuck on me. The idea of this supposedly blind faith seems like a nicer terminology for false hope to me.
I respect peoples beliefs, and i'm willing to listen to most justified arguements. But the thing that really gets me is that you cannot have a reasonable arguement with someone who has total faith (In my experience anyway), and that they refuse to listen to my arguement of a more scientifical approach without passing it off as rubbish, when their side of the arguement has even less factual backup than mine.
P.S I dont believe in god. (Just in case you hadn't realised)
It's not religion based on belief as much as it is based on how you were brought up and the culture you grew up in.
I dont meant to sound rude or belittling in anyway but I think it takes more faith to believe in nothing than it does to believe in God. I praise you for your faith.
In praising God we find life, and life in abundance, because we are set free from the law of sin and death.
